Purpose
|

The purpose of this website is to communicate with
supporters wishing to challenge the decision making process of the of the
Uttlesford District Council in arriving at
four
options for housing development. In particular, we challenge
their preferred option of building 3,000 plus houses between the villages of
Elsenham and Henham. (see
History so Far page)
To this end the Parish Councils of Elsenham, Henham,
Stansted, Newport and Ugley have formed a Joint Parishes
Steering Group to jointly pursue the challenge. |

Since the
site was started we now face the Government proposal to build an Eco-town
between Elsenham and Henham and the efforts of the Joint Parishes Steering
Group have been enlarged to encompass this fight as well. See Contact Us page for list
